2. Should I rent a vehicle?

No matter where you stay in Boquete, we strongly recommend renting a car. The beauty of Boquete lies in the mountains and surrounding areas—not in the bustling town centre. ‘Land of eternal spring and flowers’ is not just a phrase coined by a romantic travel writer—it is an apt description of Boquete. With its clean, cool mountain air, the temperature in Boquete ranges between 60° and 80° F (16° and 28° C). ‘Green season’ in Boquete takes place from mid-May to mid-November.
